We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic U18 Coordinator to join our team. This role offers the prospect to coordinate the student journey for international students under 18, deliver high-quality wellbeing and compliance support, and contribute to student engagement initiatives that promote a smooth transition and positive educational experience.

Your day to day will consist of:

Supporting international students under the age of 18 throughout their student journey, from pre-arrival to completion of their studies.

Coordinate Under 18 Care Arrangements (CAAW) applications, accommodation approvals and associated administrative processes in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Build and maintain strong relationships with students, families, accommodation providers, education agents and internal colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive student experience.

Work under the direction of the U18 Team Leader and in collaboration with the U18 Student Wellbeing Advisor to monitor, report and respond to student welfare matters arising from accommodation providers, CAAW breaches and other welfare concerns, including supporting regular welfare check-ins and appropriate escalation of issues.

Ensure all processes are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, including the ESOS Act 2000, the National Code 2018 and College policies and procedures.

Collaborate with academic and professional teams to achieve organisational objectives.

Exceptional administrative skills supported by strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing workload

Demonstrated knowledge of the ESOS Act 2000 and National Code 2018, with the ability to interpret and apply legislation, policy, and procedures in practice.

A genuine passion for supporting young people and contributing to positive outcomes for international students under 18 years of age. An ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team while also managing responsibilities independently.

A proactive, compassionate, and solutions-focused approach, with sound judgement and a commitment to student safety and wellbeing.

Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and providing an outstanding student experience.

A working with children check, or eligibility to apply for a check

Mandarin speaking is advantageous but not essential
