We are currently searching for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team based out of Fairfield East to support our transport function and uphold customer experience. This role will work closely with our transport function to deliver machinery, and provide outstanding customer service throughout this process.

Tasks and Qualifications:
What You’ll Do:
- Load and unload units such as forklifts and scissor lifts to the trucks in a safe manner.
- Remain aware of load weight and height weight of the vehicle while undertaking any routes.
- Adhere to all road rules and regulations whilst operating the vehicle.
- Complete thorough inspections prior to leaving locations including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, lights and signals of the vehicle.
- Ensure adherence to NHVR guidelines.
- Drive carefully without speeding during delivery and collection of the units.
- Complete paperwork as required.
- Maintain the truck in a clean and tidy manner.
- Perform any additional duties as directed.
- Immediately report any incidents, near misses, hazards or defects that may occur.
What You’ll Bring:
- Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) Licence.
- Understanding of Work, Health and Safety (WHS) obligations, and your responsibilities to uphold these within the workplace.
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
