Central Coast Living Options - Tuggerah NSW

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a unique and rewarding role focused on supporting participants with complex health needs and enhancing staff capability through clinical education and training.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred supports through the development and implementation of individualised training programs tailored to each participant's specific clinical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Monday - Thursday

Work from Home options available.

Office-based and on-site across our services.

- Conduct participant assessments and review high intensity support needs.
- Develop and deliver individualised clinical training to support workers, team leaders and unit managers.
- Provide clinical guidance and advice to ensure best practice and compliance.
- Support the implementation of participant care plans and health management strategies.
- Collaborate with families, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders to promote positive participant outcomes.
- Review participant care plans and clinical documentation.
- Develop and update training resources and competency assessments.
- Organise and schedule ongoing staff training programs.
- Ensure training records and documentation are maintained.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and workforce development.
- Conduct audits on, and review S4 and S8 medication registers and procedures.

To be successful in this role,



you will possess:

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience working with participants with complex care needs.
- Strong understanding of person-centred practice and the NDIS environment.
- Experience in clinical education, mentoring, or staff training is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple sites.
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between services as required.

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

Mandatory Requirements

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- First Aid & CPR Certification
