Carers Link is seeking a dedicated and compassionate AIN / Support Worker to join our team on Casual/PPT basis in Eastern Brisbane. As a valued member of our Aged & Disability Support team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our clients and supporting them to live independently in their own homes.

What you'll be doing

- Providing personalised in-home care and support to elderly and disabled clients
- High Intensity support provision experience
- Assisting with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community events
- Monitoring clients' well-being and reporting any changes or concerns to the care team
- Promoting client independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Working in Supported Independent Living Homes

What we’re looking for

- A current Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) or a willingness to obtain this qualification
- Experience working in the aged care or disability support sector, preferably in a community-based setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others
- A valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Flexibility to travel within Wynnum, Victoria Point, North and South Brisbane (other areas as required)
