The highly successful Queanbeyan Leagues Club, which is a part of the Canberra Raiders Group, is currently looking for a dynamic and dedicated individual to join their team as a Duty Manager.

The Queanbeyan Leagues Club is a large, thriving business in the heart of Queanbeyan that consists of a 200-seat café, children’s playroom, bar and gaming machines.

This role is hands on, and you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of club operations. The successful applicant will always provide effective and professional customer service.

What you'll be doing

- Providing leadership and direction to your team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Monitoring and maintaining high standards of customer service, food and beverage quality, and venue presentation.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and responsive manner.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant liquor licensing, health and safety, and other regulatory requirements.




- Actively contributing to the development of policies, procedures, and training programs for the venue.

What we're looking for

- Experience in a similar duty manager or hospitality management role.
- Proven track record of leading and engaging teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
- Competency in high pressure environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the business
- NSW RSA, RCG and ARCG certificates will be required
- Work 21 days out of 42 which includes a full 7 days off in the 6-week rotation.
