Join our dynamic team at Green Light as a Data Analyst, we're seeking a seasoned skilled with strong technical business analysis and data migration experience. As a Techncial Business Analyst/Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in analysing legacy systems, defining source-to-target mappings, validating migration outcomes, and ensuring data is successfully migrated into modern cloud platforms while empowering stakeholders with accurate and trusted data.

This role does require an active AGSVA NV1 clearance at a minimum. Consultants that do not hold this minimum requirement will not be considered.

Responsibilities

- Analyse legacy systems and source data to understand data structures, business rules, relationships, and dependencies required for successful migration activities.
- Develop and maintain source-to-target mapping documentation, ensuring data transformations, business rules, and mapping requirements are clearly defined for engineering and testing teams.
- Utilise strong data analysis skills to assess relational data models, keys, constraints, and domain values, ensuring accurate and complete mapping between source and target environments.
- Perform SQL-based validation and reconciliation activities to verify migration outcomes, investigate data quality issues, and troubleshoot discrepancies across legacy and cloud platforms.
- Act as a strategic advisor, providing analysis and recommendations to support migration decisions, data quality improvements, and successful project delivery.
- Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, QA/Test teams,



and Product stakeholders to ensure migration requirements are understood, implemented correctly, and fully testable.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements relating to data migration and transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to the establishment of data management and migration best practices, fostering collaboration across teams and supporting successful delivery outcomes.

Requirements

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business analysis, or data migration roles, with a proven track record of delivering successful data-focused projects.
- Demonstrated experience analysing legacy systems and supporting structured data migration programs into modern cloud-based platforms.
- Strong experience producing source-to-target mapping documentation, including entity-level and attribute-level mappings and transformation rules.
- Solid understanding of relational data models, keys, constraints, relationships, and data quality principles.
- Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in validating migration builds, reconciling datasets, and troubleshooting data issues across complex environments.
- Experience working closely with Data Engineering, Architecture, QA/Testing,



and Product teams to support implementation and testing activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services, including but not limited to Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Desirable to have experience in healthcare or related industries, with knowledge of health data, migration, or reporting requirements.
