About the role
We are currently seeking an Executive Housekeeper that knows exactly what it takes to manage a team in a luxury environment and guide them to consistently deliver a superior guest experience.
You will oversee and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Housekeeping department, including Laundry and Public Areas. You will focus your attention on the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel, including our luxurious rooms,
suites and public areas. As well as day-to-day operations, you will be instrumental in the hotel’s upcoming refurbishment and rebranding.
As Executive Housekeeper you will be efficient and organised, with the ability to work cohesively with experienced Supervisors and other Department Heads. Your solid communication skills and naturally friendly nature will build strong rapport with team members, guests and owners.
About you
- Previous housekeeping management experience within a luxury environment preferred
- Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional guest and customer service focus
- Energy and passion for the Hospitality Industry
- Confident and experienced with budgeting, rostering and financial reporting
- Confident communicator who excels in training and development of the team
- Displays and promotes safe work practices with regards to chemical handling & manual handling
