Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a CHPP Fitter to assist with servicing our clients in the Hunter Valley and surrounding areas.

About the role

We are currently seeking a qualified Fitter for work as a CHPP Operator working a 4-panel rotation.

The CHPP Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) and operating mobile equipment within the plant. This includes Stockpile Dozers, ROM/Bypass/TLO and other ancillary mobile equipment. The CHPP Operator is also responsible for producing accurate daily production reports and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Duties may include:

- - Dozer operation(when site training has been completed)
- - Control room operations
- - CHPP Plant operations
- - CHPP Plant and Equipment Inspections
- - CHPP Breakdowns

Selection Criteria





To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

Required

- - Australian recognised Trade Certificate/ Certificate of Proficiency
- - Have an unwavering commitment to safety and an attitude that drives a zero-harm workplace
- - Proven CHPP or other heavy industry experience
- - Commitment to high housekeeping standards
- - Ability to take accountability
- - Hold or be willing to obtain a current Order 45 Pre-placement Medical
- - Ability and desire to work well within a multi skilled team
- - Current Australian Driver’s License
- - Professional work ethic
- - Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- - Be self-motivated and reliable with a proactive attitude
- - White Card
- - Confined Spaces (Desirable)
- - Local mine site inductions (Desirable)
