Tasks & responsibilities:

Research and develop new and existing cosmetic and personal care products

Evaluate formulations, methods, and mechanisms to proactively identify and develop products

Research ingredients and create ingredient listings, ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements, including overseas regulations

Conduct stability testing, manufacturing process validations, performance testing, and sensory assessments to ensure product efficacy

Prepare new product dossiers, SOPs, master specifications, bills of materials, manufacturing processing instructions, and other required documentation

Liaise with external stakeholders to source new,



innovative raw materials

Support the Client Services team with customer enquiries and meetings

Provide technical support to the quality, manufacturing and production teams

Maintain accurate documentation, including formula sheets, batch records, and technical reports

Stay current with industry and beauty trends, including evolving regulations

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience as a formulation/R&D; chemist within a contract manufacturing environment

Minimum of Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) or a qualification in cosmetic science
