About the Role:
This position is responsible for setting up tools and operating machinery required to meet production demands for die correction. The position will also troubleshoot, and problem solve die machine and technology failures.
To be considered for this position you MUST:
- Mechanical Engineering qualification with minimum 5 years’ experience
- Ability to design both solid and hollow extrusion dies
- Accurate inspection and correction of extrusion dies
- Ability to analyse die failure and interpret reasons for failure
- Preparation and inspection of finished work
- Laterally approach problem solving; and to make logical and well-reasoned decisions
- Accurately work with and interpret, numbers and technical detail
- Understand the importance of quality to the business and demonstrate attention to detail.
