Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

As an experienced nurse, you will present with well-developed communication and customer service skills, with a passion for delivering person-centred care through a strong alignment to our values.You’llbe adept at managing conflicting priorities whilstremainingpatient-focused under time pressures.

As a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency department, you will

- Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
- Commit to achieving optimalpatient outcomesthrough the use ofeffective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
- Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a secure environment foroptimalpatient health
- Effectively and accurately exchange,retrieveand manage information relevant to your role
- Exercise authority throughappropriate decisionmaking
- Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management,



including incident management

What makes a difference for us?

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Emergency Department
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership,supportand mentorship
- An ability to coordinate and prioritise your wards clinical load
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvements
- A keen interest in leadership
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
