A salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour We are seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses – Scrub Scout to join the Perioperative team on a Full-Time basis. As a Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include: Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team including the Surgical Consultant, Fellows, Registrar, and Allied Health to achieve excellence in patient’s clinical outcomes and hospital experience Ensure patient and staff safety Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the patient
Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly,
concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology About the Company The hospital is located in the rapidly developing North West corridor of Sydney and is operated by a leading provider of private healthcare in Australia.
The hospital has 277 beds and is a high-acuity facility with an Emergency Department located in Sydney's Bella Vista. About You
Current Registration with AHPRA Minimum 3 years experience as an RN in a perioperative setting Experience in Neurosurgery, Cardiac and Vascular (Desirable)
Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Commitment to quality patient care
Works independently and within a team Exceptional time management and organisational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills Exceptional computer skills
