We are seeking a Warehouse & Maintenance Assistant to support warehouse operations, coordination, and hands‑on core cutting activities. You will be responsible for assisting warehouse organisation, inventory and logistics while also operating core saw equipment and supporting sample preparation. This role is suited to someone who is organised, safety focused, mechanically minded, and enjoys hands‑on physical work. You'll be comfortable operating equipment, handling materials and carrying out basic maintenance tasks. A maintenance background with a relevant trade qualification is essential. The role is primarily based at our Auburn facility, with occasional travel to remote exploration sites as required.

About the Role

Responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations

Safely load, unload, lift, and transport core trays and warehouse materials as part of daily operations

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of core, equipment, and consumables, including transport to and from exploration sites

Maintain inventory, tooling, and consumables, ensuring accurate records are kept

Handle drill core processing, including safe operation of core saws,



cutting samples, and loading/unloading core trays

Operate and maintain core saw equipment, including pre‑start checks, maintenance, and oversight of the saw container

Perform routine equipment and maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and identifying maintenance requirements

Assist with the setup, upkeep, and organisation of operational equipment

Manage waste in line with environmental procedures

Ensure warehouse and storage areas meet safety, quality, and compliance standards

Maintain a clean and organised working environment

Complete all required operational, logistics, and quality documentation

Identify hazards, report issues, and contribute to continuous safety improvement

About You

Practical mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools

A maintenance background with a relevant trade qualification is essential

Comfortable performing routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance tasks

Previous experience operating core saws or similar equipment (preferred but not essential)

Strong safety mindset and attention to detail

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Willingness to learn and be cross‑trained in additional sample preparation areas

Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team

Comfortable working on site and travelling to remote exploration locations when required
