We are currently seeking dedicated, values-driven Residential Youth Workers to join our passionate team supporting young people aged 12–17. This is more than a job - it's an prospect to provide stability, safety, support and hope to young people who need it most.

About Our Home:

We provide 24/7 care in a stable, homelike environment for young people with complex needs arising from trauma, neglect, abuse, or circumstances that prevent them from living safely at home.

Our team works alongside young people in their daily lives – not from behind a desk. From preparing meals together and supporting daily routines to helping regulate emotions, attend appointments and navigate life's challenges, we show up consistently with care, compassion and professionalism.

About The Role – Residential Youth Worker

You will work directly with young people to provide care, guidance, emotional support and positive role modelling while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting daily living skills, personal care and household routines
- Assisting with recreation, education and community participation
- Supporting young people through challenging behaviours using trauma-informed approaches




- Implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans where required
- Completing case notes, incident reports, sleep logs and other documentation
- Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

What's on offer?

Casual & Permanent part-time employment

Immediate start (pending mandatory NDIS requirements)

Casual: Ordinary $48.13 - $50.61 (inclusive of 25% loading), Saturday shift $67.38 - $72.91, Sunday shift $86.63- $93.74

Receive sleepover allowance $100 for sleepover shifts

Not-for-profit salary packaging optionsto increase take home pay (package up to $15,900 per FBT year)

Flexible and supportive work environment

Ongoing learning and development

Certificate IV in Youth Work (or willingness to commence studies)

Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant experience supporting vulnerable people

Suitable availability to work on a rotating flexible roster (will include a combination of day, afternoon and active night, sleepovers and weekend shifts)

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job that may include manual handling tasks
