An exciting opportunity exists for a Mechatronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced automation solutions for commercial applications. Working alongside software and mechatronics engineers, you'll help design, build, test and commission automation systems while taking ownership of key subsystems throughout the full engineering lifecycle.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working across hardware and software in a fast‑paced development environment.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline
- 3+ years' experience in mechatronics, industrial automation or software engineering
- Experience designing, testing and commissioning automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting and hands‑on problem‑solving skills
- Experience working with sensors, actuators, motion control or control hardware
- Programming experience with C++ and/or Python
- Exposure to embedded systems, firmware or microcontrollers
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional engineering teams
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership mindset
Desirable experience includes:
- Docker, Linux, Azure or PostgreSQL
- PCB design or industrial communication protocols
- Robotics, machine vision or motion control
- Manufacturing, semiconductor or solar industries
- Functional safety or engineering compliance standards
- AI‑assisted software development tools
