Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent, and/or relevant previous skills and experience in supervision/management in a health facility setting with demonstrated ability to lead team performance to achieve service goals.
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of medical record systems (paper and electronic), including storage, culling and destruction of records.
Previous supervisory experience with proven administrative and organisational skills.
Commitment to quality management and experience implementing quality management activities.
Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritise workload.
Demonstrated negotiation and problem solving skills.
Effective interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Demonstrated high level computer skills with knowledge of computerised Patient Administration Systems (eMR) and Microsoft Office.
