About the Role
We are seeking an organised and reliable Office Administration team member to assist with the day-to-day running of our office.
This is a junior administrative role involving tasks such as answering incoming phone calls, responding to customer and builder enquiries, contacting builders to confirm installation dates, updating job information, and providing general administrative support to the team.
The role would suit someone who communicates well, is comfortable using computers, and can manage a variety of straightforward office tasks in a busy work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls,
assist with enquiries, and resolve routine customer or job-related issues where possible, escalating more complex matters when required
- Assist customers and builders with general enquiries
- Contact builders and site representatives to confirm installation dates and site readiness
- Monitor, sort, and respond to routine emails in a timely manner
- Enter and update job details in our internal system
- Add clear and accurate notes to job records
- Update installation dates and other job information as required
- Follow up outstanding information needed to schedule or complete jobs
- Escalate customer, scheduling, or job issues to the appropriate team member when required
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Maintain professional communication with customers, builders, suppliers, and staff
About You
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including by phone and email
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
- Confident using computer systems and able to learn new software
- Able to solve routine problems and use initiative
- Able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
- Previous experience in customer service or administration is preferred but not essential
