COEN Composite Wood is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator to join our energetic team at our Coopers Plains facility in Queensland. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehousing and distribution operations. As Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse activities, managing inventory flows, and ensuring seamless logistics operations that support our business objectives and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

As our Warehouse & Logistics Coordinator, you are the engine room of our business. You won't just be ticking boxes; you will be orchestrating the daily dance of inventory, freight, and customer satisfaction.

Your typical day will look like:

Safety First - ensuring our workplace remains a safe, clean and tidy environment for everyone

Logistics Champion - booking freight, tracking shipments, and ensuring our products land safely on-site and on time

Pick & Pack Performer - picking and packing sales orders, prepping orders for despatch (wrapping & labelling)

Inventory - keeping a sharp eye on stock levels, managing incoming deliveries (container unloads), and maintaining a meticulous warehouse clean and tidy

Team Connector - acting as the vital bridge between our sales team, local suppliers, and transport partners

What Success Looks Like

You’ll know you're nailing this role when orders go out complete and on time, stock counts match the system (weekly cyclic counts), the warehouse is safe and tidy without being told, and the sales team trusts you to flag problems before they become customer issues.

What we’re looking for

Experience - 2+ years in a warehouse or logistics coordination role

Skills - A valid forklift license (LF) and solid computer literacy (Cin7 Core / DEAR) inventory software experience is a massive plus

Physical - Comfortable with manual handling and able to do repetitive lifting, and happy to wear required PPE

Mindset - A proactive problem-solver who can spot a bottleneck before it happens, able to work unsupervised, show initiative and manage day-to-day tasks independently or in consultation with the Operations Manager

Vibe - A positive attitude, a sense of humour, and a genuine passion for teamwork

Good throwing arm - Occasional ball throwing for our Chief Ball Catcher and Canine Showroom Assistant
