Agricultural Requirements is seeking an experienced/qualified Boilermaker / Welder to join our team in Gatton, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to apply your expert welding and boilermaking skills in a dynamic agricultural manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and maintaining high-quality metal structures and components that are critical to our product offerings. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring our operations run efficiently and safely.

Key responsibilities

1. Perform precision welding on various metal materials using multiple welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
2. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications to ensure accurate work
3. Conduct quality inspections on completed welds and components, identifying and rectifying any defects
4. Maintain and operate welding equipment, including maintenance checks and calibration as required
5. Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment
6. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines and quality standards
7. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on processes and efficiency

What we're looking for

1. Current certification or qualifications in boilermaking and/or welding recognised by relevant Australian standards
2. Proven experience as a boilermaker or welder, with demonstrated competency across multiple welding techniques
3. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
4.



Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices, including WHS compliance
5. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing work of the highest quality
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
7. Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in varying environmental conditions
8. Preferred: Experience with stainless steel and aluminum fabrication
