Senior Project Delivery Leader - WHS Implementation

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Delivery Leader to deliver a strategic Work Health and Safety (WHS) implementation program.

About the Role

This is a temporary contract role and due to the nature of the role will be required to be performed on-site on the Central Coast, NSW.

As the Senior Project Delivery Leader – WHS Implementation, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a strategic WHS project, ensuring outcomes are achieved safely, on time, within budget and aligned with to strategic priorities.

Working closely with managers, employees, contractors and external partners, you'll provide project leadership, governance and change management expertise to successfully implement new WHS initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end delivery of the WHS implementation project.

Manage project planning, governance, budgets, schedules, risks and reporting.

Coordinate the implementation of WHS systems,



processes and business improvements.

Engage and influence stakeholders to support successful organisational change.

Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, organisational policies and governance requirements.

Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Provide leadership to project teams and delivery partners.

About You

You are an experienced project qualified with a proven track record delivering complex implementation or transformation projects in a regulated environment. You bring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and change management skills, together with experience implementing WHS improvement initiatives.

You'll also have:

Demonstrated project delivery and governance experience.

Demonstrated experience in construction, utilities, infrastructure and/or waste operations required.

Experience leading organisational change and stakeholder engagement.

Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and risk management principles.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, Engineering, WHS or a related discipline.
