Heavy Maintenance Australia is looking for motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our team at the Thiess Component Rebuild Centre in Darra.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a Monday to Friday day shift role with a pathway to a full-time permanent position after six months for the right candidates.

About the Role
As a Trade Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our workshop team by assisting with component rebuild operations, warehousing, and workshop maintenance while working in a safety-focused environment.
Key Duties
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assisting with warehousing operations
- Operating and maintaining pressure hot washers
- Assisting with crack testing procedures
- Supporting tradespeople with parts and component handling
- Following work schedules, procedures, and safety requirements
- Assisting with workshop housekeeping and parts cleaning
What We're Looking For
- Permanent working rights or a valid visa permitting work in Australia
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures
- Willingness to undertake a criminal background check
- Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical
- Current Forklift Licence (essential)
- Dogging experience required, with willingness to obtain additional tickets (training assistance provided)
