The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Sales Engineer to manage an established territory across Sydney and regional NSW.

Reporting directly to the NSW Sales Manager, you'll take ownership of an existing customer base while identifying new opportunities across a broad range of industrial sectors.

Responsibilities include:

- Develop new business opportunities across your territory.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Build strong relationships with OEMs, mining, F&B; manufacturing, repair workshops, gearbox and pump Manufacturers.
- Plan and execute regular customer visits.
- Maintain CRM activity and sales pipeline.
- Work closely with internal sales and major account teams.
- Travel throughout Sydney and regional NSW, including occasional overnight trips (approximately every 6–8 weeks).

The Candidate





You will be a proactive sales professional who enjoys getting in front of customers and building long‑term relationships.

Ideally you will possess:

- Experience within industrial manufacturing or mechanical equipment.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Solid territory management and organisational ability.
- Experience using CRM systems.
- Comfortable travelling throughout your territory.

Highly desirable backgrounds include:

- Electric motors
- Power transmission
- Gearboxes
- Bearings
- Pumps
- Mechanical equipment

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics) or trade qualification (Electrician, Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner or similar) highly desirable.
