Jarrah House is the name given to the residential rehabilitation location for the Women's Alcohol and Drug Advisory Centre Incorporated (WADAC), a Non-GovernmentOrganisationproviding services to improve the wellbeing and health outcomes of women, and their families, carers and friends.
The Manager, Non-Residential AOD Services is a newly created leadership role designed to build and strengthen services for clients in the community. Initially, you will work closely with the CEO,Subject Matter Expertsand the Steering Committee to build our new Family, Carers and Friends service.

The role involves:
- Coordinatingcounselling and supportservices to non-residential AOD clients(Aftercare and Family, Carers and Friends)
- Co-designing,monitoringand evaluatingtherapeuticframeworks,content& tools
- Client screening,assessmentsand care planning
- Delivering a range ofpsychosocialservices including counselling, group facilitation (online and in-person),psychoeducationand brief interventions
- Contributingto clinical governance, activity-outcomereviewandqualityimprovement
- Maintainingclient and operational records
- Buildingcollaborative partnerships with relevant agenciesandservices.
About You
You’llbring:
- Experience working in the AOD and/or Health sector
- An ability to guide,mentorand work collaboratively with others
- Experienceincounselling and group facilitation
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychosocial and therapeutic frameworks and modalities applicable to AOD, community mental health, familysupportand continuing care.
- Anability to engage diverse client groups.
Essential Requirements
- Psychology,Counsellingor related qualification
- Membership of a relevant professional association
- Demonstrated successful experience in a clinical role, suitable to the operating context
- Has the right to work in Australia
- Working with Children Check clearance
- Criminal Record Check clearance
- Evidence of vaccination against Covid-19 and Whooping Cough
- Identify as a woman - we have an exemption from sections 25 and 51 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 to advertise, designate and recruit women only in all positions that work directly with, or are in regular contact with clients.
