Parts Supply Solutions / Hanover Displays is a leading supplier of CCTV and passenger information systems, along with automotive parts used in the production and maintenance of buses. The business supplies, installs and maintains these products for a broad customer base, including OEMs, government organisations, large corporate fleets and small family businesses.

Due to continued growth in Queensland, we are seeking a Brisbane-based Technician to work alongside our lead auto electrician. This role is suited to someone with the drive and motivation to deliver high-quality support and installation services to our Queensland customer base. Previous experience working on buses or within the automotive industry, together with a sound understanding of electrical circuits, is highly regarded.

Job title: Technician / Installer QLD

Location: Based at our Brendale office, with local work, occasional regional and interstate travel.

Responsibilities:

- Install and maintain CCTV systems and passenger information systems on bus fleets, including fault finding, repairs and diagnostics while working with the lead technician.
- Assist clients by resolving technical issues and supporting programming and monitoring services.
- Program and test passenger information systems.




- Build strong working relationships with customers and senior management on a daily basis.
- Provide daily reporting and complete all required paperwork for jobs completed.
- Liaise with customers and deliver an outstanding customer experience for all clients.

Skills and attributes required:

- Qualification as an auto electrician or diesel mechanic, with the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working on bus fleets or within the bus industry would be ideal.
- A minimum of two years’ experience working with electrical circuits in buses would be ideal.
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence using technology.
- Be willing to travel interstate from time to time.
- A CCTV security licence is highly regarded but not essential. If successful, you will be required to obtain this licence, which includes a police check as part of the process.
