Intermediate Accountant (Business Services / Public Practice)

About the role

As an Intermediate Accountant in our Business Services team, you’ll work on real client work across financial statements, tax returns and activity statements, with coaching directly with your manager.

Key responsibilities

Prepare financial statements and complete general ledger reconciliations.

Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.

Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns and supporting workpapers.





Deliver accurate work to deadlines and communicate professionally with clients.

About you

Up to 18 months’ experience in public practice (business services)

Relevant accounting degree/diploma completed or underway; interest in further study (e.g., CA/CPA).

Strong written/verbal communication and attention to detail.

Confident with Office 365 – Co-pilot; Xero and/or MYOB exposure is an advantage.
