REDARC, a dynamic and growing multinational organisation operating across multiple entities and jurisdictions, is seeking a Group Accountant to join their finance team. This is a strong opportunity for an audit-trained Chartered Accountant or CPA with sound technical accounting capability, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to help build compliant group reporting processes within a complex, multinational business.

REDARC operates across multiple entities and jurisdictions, with a finance function that is evolving to support the organisation's continued growth. Based at their Lonsdale site, REDARC's finance team plays a critical role in strengthening reporting discipline, preparing the business for audit and statutory requirements, and supporting strategic decision-making across the Group.
About the role:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Group Accountant will be responsible for strengthening the integrity of the Group's financial records, reporting processes and control environment across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual group financial consolidations, and developing compliant consolidated financial statements from the ground up
- Leading preparation of statutory financial statements and preparing audit-ready workpapers, reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Providing technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including revenue recognition for long-term and project-based contracts
- Work closely with external tax advisors to support the Group’s compliance with taxation obligations across corporate income tax, GST/VAT,
sales tax and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Supporting transfer pricing compliance, cross-border tax matters and R&D; tax incentive claims
- Acting as finance owner for ERP accounting requirements, including chart of accounts, posting logic and data integrity
- Creating and implementing internal controls over financial reporting, and driving finance process improvements
About you:
- CA or CPA qualification essential (CAANZ, CPA Australia or equivalent), with a degree in a related discipline
- External audit experience essential, ideally gained within a Big 4 or reputable mid-tier accounting firm
- Strong understanding of group structures, consolidation principles and intercompany accounting
- Willingness to take ownership of taxation compliance and work closely with external advisors
- Experience across multiple entities, currencies or jurisdictions advantageous; prior industry experience beneficial but not essential
- Advanced Excel skills, with ERP/systems accounting experience highly desirable
- High attention to detail, a disciplined approach to documentation and audit readiness, and strong commercial thinking
- Ability to communicate complex accounting issues clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Self-motivated, comfortable in a rapid-paced environment, with strong stakeholder management skills
