Who We Are:
Apex Camps operates a two highly successful camps, including Apex Camp Sunshine Coast at Twin Waters and Apex Camp Magnetic Island in beautiful North Queensland.
We deliver high-quality, customer-focused educational and recreational camp experiences for school groups, sporting and community organisations.
Our camps provide a variety of activities, with a strong emphasis on safety, engagement, and memorable guest experiences.

About the Role:
The Catering Manager is responsible for for ensuring quality meals and snacks are provided to guests creating a memorable dining experience for our clients.
This is coupled with the concept that the camp is a business unit that needs to run profitably with effective overseeing of budgets, cost-stock controls and management of kitchen assets .
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the camps kitchen facilities
- Staff Leadership and Development
- Customer Service
- Kitchen Asset Management and Maintenance
- Regulatory and Legislative compliance
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven management experience within a dynamic environment
- Excellent team management and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage logistics, scheduling and planning
- Experience in the same or similar industry desirable
- Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full-time position in a values-driven not-for-profit organisation
