About the role:
An excitingopportunity now exists for a Sales Assistant in our Maryborough retail site, to work in a team workplace. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will demonstrate your skills daily in this busy environment.
The purpose of this role is to perform the retail, warehouse, delivery and counter sales duties in a timely and efficient manner to achieve maximum productivity of the branch.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing customer inquiries and orders.
- Offering expert advice and quotations to customers.
- Answering phone and email inquiries from customers and staff.
- Converting sales opportunities.
- Data entry and processing paperwork using the business computer systems.
- Managing inventory, receiving and dispatching products and carrying out regular stocktakes.
- Operating equipment safely and carefully as required including vehicles and forklifts.
- Replacing batteries as necessary in a timely manner and perform relevant checks.
- B2B deliveries, rotations and merchandising as required.
- Field sales support and delivery as reasonably required
- Completing required projects, administration and housekeeping tasks as reasonably required.
About you
To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess the following:
- MR Licence (Mandatory)
- Ability to operate autonomously
- Excellent inventory skills
- Fit and Healthy as handling batteries is required
- Strict Safety & OHSE Policies awareness
- Self-motivated and energetic with a need to excel
- Automotive or battery industry experience will be advantageous
