Premier Pet is a growing importer and national distributor of live fish, aquarium and pet care products and is looking to expand its customer service team.
This is a Monday to Friday, full-time, office-based, position reporting to the Sales Manager. Its major responsibility is building sales and seeking new customers through making Outbound Telesales calls.
Other tasks include:
- Processing sales orders received by phone, web or email
- Providing customer service to customers (Pet and Aquarium shops)
- Offering weekly promotions
- Variousadministration tasks
Successful applicant must have:
The ideal candidate will possess several years successful experience in customer service, telesales or call centre. Pet and/or Aquarium experience would be highly regarded
The key factor is energy and an unrelenting focus on achieving targeted results!
Other skills and personal attributes essential for success in the role include:
- The ability to build rapport with customers, ultimately translating to sales
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation capability - prioritising time to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new procedures
- A positive, versatile team player attitude
- The ability to absorb new information and react quickly and accordingly
