Mount Morgan Hospital, located in rural Queensland, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (Grade 5) to join its Emergency Department on a six-week contract from 3 August to 13 September 2026. Preferred Requirements





- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS2) certification, ideally through the Australian Resuscitation Council
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) qualification
- Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and emergency nursing practice
- Experience with IV cannulation and aged care nursing
- Proven experience working in rural or remote healthcare environments

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Aged Care Check clearance (required for this role)
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in emergency or rural nursing
