The Warehouse & Logistics Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the warehouse and logistics team to ensure the efficient movement of goods and accurate processing of documentation. This role plays a critical part in coordinating transport, maintaining inventory records, processing customer orders and supporting the day to day operations of the business.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare picking slips, packing slips and shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate warehouse records and filing systems.
- Assist with inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Update warehouse management systems with incoming and outgoing stock movements.
- Generate operational reports as required.

Logistics Coordination

- Book freight with transport providers.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries.
- Monitor shipment schedules and communicate delivery updates.
- Liaise with freight companies, suppliers and customers regarding deliveries.
- Resolve transport and delivery issues in a timely manner.

Customer Service





- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Provide updates regarding orders and delivery timeframes.
- Build positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication.

Data Entry & Systems

- Maintain accurate information across ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Process purchase orders, invoices and delivery documentation.
- Ensure all data is entered accurately and within required timeframes.

About you

- Previous experience in an administration role within warehousing, transport or logistics.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using ERP, Transport Management Systems or Warehouse Management Systems.
- This role is primarily office based within a warehouse environment and involves regular interaction with warehouse staff, transport providers, customers and suppliers.
