About the Role

Are you a natural leader with a "hands-on" approach to technical operations? We are seeking a motivated Production Coordinator to lead a dedicated team of Technical Operators and Process Workers within our fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

In this pivotal role, you will be the engine room of our production floor. You’ll combine your technical troubleshooting skills with frontline leadership to ensure our machinery runs at peak efficiency, all while maintaining the gold standard in food safety (BRCGS) and quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational Leadership: Coordinating the daily production plan, overseeing pre-operational safety and cleanliness checks, and ensuring all materials meet specifications.
- Technical Oversight: Monitoring line performance, providing hands-on guidance for machine adjustments, and leading first-line troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Quality & Hygiene Excellence: Acting as the champion for GMP and BRCGS standards, ensuring routine quality checks (seals, weights, labeling) are performed with 100% accuracy.
- Team Development: Coaching and mentoring a small team,



fostering a collaborative culture, and assisting the Shift Supervisor with resource allocation.
- Safety Leadership: Enforcing a safety-first culture, including LOTO procedures, PPE compliance, and manual handling safety.

What You Bring to the Team

We are looking for a coordinator who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty but also understands the "big picture" of production targets.

- Experience: Previous experience in a food manufacturing workplace (High care/FMCG preferred).
- Technical Savvy: Ability to diagnose and resolve common machine alarms and mechanical stoppages.
- Standards Driven: Robust knowledge of GMP and BRCGS Global Food Safety Standards.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and train a team of operators and process workers.
- Detail Oriented: Proficient in recording production data (SCADA/MFG systems) and maintaining impeccable quality records.
