About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager – Projects will play a leading role in the commercial delivery of Pyrocal’s Continuous Carbonisation Technology projects. Working within a multidisciplinary team, this role offers the opportunity to apply strong project management expertise in a collaborative and fast-growing environment.

You will be responsible for leading assigned projects from planning through delivery, managing client and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, commercially and in line with contract obligations.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of assigned projects and act as the primary project contact for clients and stakeholders.

- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resourcing and delivery strategy.

- Manage project budgets, commercial outcomes and financial performance against approved targets.

- Coordinate internal teams,



suppliers and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and delivery.

- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies, including contractual and financial considerations.

- Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors and internal stakeholders through regular reporting and engagement.

- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, quality standards and company protocols.

- Support the development and adoption of repeatable project management methods and continuous improvement practices.

- Apply commercial acumen and leadership to support successful project outcomes.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- A degree in Engineering or a related discipline, with professional membership or equivalent status desirable.

- Strong project management experience with a proven track record of project delivery.

- Experience across different project delivery models such as Design-Bid-Build (DBB), Design-Build (DB) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).

- Proven capability in client management, business development, commercial management and leadership.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

- Robust relationship-building skills and the credibility to influence and collaborate across diverse groups.

- A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset.

Position details

- Type: Fixed term until December 2028, subject to project schedule.

- Location: Toowoomba, QLD preferred.

- Travel: Domestic travel will be required, particularly during commissioning and other project phases.
