Jennings Plumbing Services is seeking experienced Mechanical Plumbers to join our growing team in Williamtown NSW. This is a full-time position that offers the prospect to work on diverse plumbing commericial projects. You will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality plumbing solutions, utilising your technical expertise to ensure systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards. This role is crucial to our reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain mechanical plumbing systems including pipes, and plant
Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair work
Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and effectively on job sites
Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients about work being undertaken
Ensure all work sites are left clean and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations
What we're looking for
Recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship completion in mechanical plumbing
Current or eligible for NSW plumbing licence
Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a qualified plumber
Strong understanding of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
Experience with a wide range of mech plumbing systems and installations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to access job sites across the Newcastle area
Physical fitness and ability to work in various conditions and positions
Strong communication and customer service skills
Commitment to health and safety practices on site
