We’re on the hunt for a Payroll Officer with ambition to join our high-performing National Payroll team, supporting 25,000+ employees across Australia while gaining hands‑on experience with Workday, one of the world’s leading payroll platforms. What You’ll Be Doing

- Assist with weekly payroll processing (Workday Payroll)
- Maintain employee data — new starters, changes, terminations
- Work with Time & Attendance data (LIFELENZ)
- Get exposure to complex payroll calculations:
- Annual, personal, parental & long service leave
- Workers compensation
- Support month-end and year-end payroll activities
- Interpret Awards & EBAs (and actually understand them, not just tick boxes)
- Assist with reconciliations (super, payroll tax, YTD)




- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements

What You Bring

- 1–3 years payroll experience (high‑volume is a bonus)
- Basic understanding of payroll legislation, tax, Awards/EBAs
- Strong attention to detail (you spot what others miss)
- Team player who can juggle priorities with the right attitude

Bonus Points If You Have

- Exposure to Workday or similar HRIS/payroll systems
- Payroll qualifications (Cert/Diploma)
