Your Opportunity to Join our Team

We’re seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join the Live Bird (Red Area) team at our Primary Processing Plant in Murarrie, QLD. In this vital role, you’ll ensure humane handling of live birds and the efficient and accurate movement of live bird modules at our facility.

- Roster: Monday to Friday - Afternoon shift role 14:50pm to 23:11pm.
- Pay Rate: Level 2 + Forklift Allowance and 15% Afternoon Shift Loading
- Immediate start - Forklift license and experience required

Daily Tasks

- Ensuring livestock is treated humanely by self and others
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload live bird modules
- Perform quality checks to ensure standards are consistently met
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the area
- Collaborate with your team to meet deadlines and ensure efficient workflows
- Identify and elevate safety, quality, and operational concerns as needed

You Will Bring to this Role

- A current and validforklift license(essential)
- Ability to work with live birds
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, including lifting5-25kg loads
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
