Avisa Accountant – OFL Pty Ltd Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + Superannuation Location: Surry Hills NSW**

Company: OFL Pty LTD Position: Accountant (Full-time, ongoing) Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 + superannuation Location: urry hills and Yennora About the Company OFL is now transitioning its entire accounting function in-house , creating the need for a dedicated Accountant to manage financial reporting, Core Accounting & Compliance Duties Preparing month-end and year-end financial statements, including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations. Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. Maintaining general ledger accuracy and preparing management accounts.

Preparing and assisting with BAS, GST, FBT and other statutory obligations. Conducting bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations. Supporting payroll processing and employee reimbursements.

Upholding internal controls and accounting standards under Australian regulations. Maintaining accurate financial records and daily transaction entries using Xero or MYOB. Assisting with external audits, compliance reviews and year-end schedules.

Task & responsibilities Qualified Responsibilities Assisting in the development and refinement of budgeting frameworks, financial procedures and accounting policies. Preparing financial statements and reports for management, directors, stakeholders and relevant regulatory bodies. Undertaking financial reviews and investigations, preparing analytical reports and supporting audit activities.

Reviewing business performance, operational expenditure and revenue streams to identify variances and areas for improvement.



Providing confidence regarding the accuracy and compliance of financial information used for decision-making and statutory submissions. Offering financial and taxation guidance on business operations, structure, planning and future growth strategies.

Preparing tax-related documentation, including individual and organisational tax returns. Liaising with financial institutions, brokers and advisers in relation to funding arrangements, banking facilities and financial planning activities. Supporting the implementation, improvement and maintenance of accounting systems, including recommendations for software selection and digital financial workflows.

Strengthening internal control systems and monitoring financial risk. Assessing cash flow projections, capital investment proposals and potential financial exposures associated with major projects.

Qualification & experience

Skills & Experience Required

Bachelors or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 12 months of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, BAS/GST obligations and compliance requirements. Proficiency in Xero, MYOB and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Ability to take over accounting functions previously outsourced to external providers. Strong analytical capability, organisational skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to work with project managers, contractors and suppliers.
