About the Role
Our Client in Aged Care Sector is looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) who will oversee clinical and care services, collaborating with the Residential Manager and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
In this role, you will provide clinical leadership, coordinate resident care, and facilitate the delivery of person-centered services at the site. Working with the Residential Manager and Allied Health practitioners,
you will ensure all services are delivered in a manner that maintains residents' quality of life and respects their individual rights.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Comprehensive clinical assessment and review of residents' care needs
- Provide leadership and promote a collaborative approach to clinical and care staff to ensure delivery of person-centered care
- Actively support and work cohesively with the clinical care team
- Support the Residential Manager in identifying training needs and performance management of clinical and care staff
- Facilitate and coordinate the admission process for new residents
- Analyse and report any anomalies to the Residential Manager
- Work in collaboration with internal and external service providers to provide clinical solutions
Key Requirements
- AHPRA Registration
- Experience with clinical problem solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality, resident-focused care
- The ability to supervise, delegate and work as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement, accreditation requirements, and documentation
