Head Of Health, Safety & Environment (APAC)

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced HSE leader to take ownership of our Health, Safety & Environment function across Australia, Current Zealand, and Asia.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping strategy, strengthening safety culture, and delivering measurable improvements in risk, compliance, and environmental performance.

The Role

Reporting to the GM Australia and GM New Zealand & Asia, you will:

Lead the APAC HSE strategy and governance agenda.

Drive a high-performance safety culture across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Ensure regulatory compliance and robust risk management across all operations.

Oversee incident response, injury management and statutory compensation schemes.

Embed strong operational standards, procedures and assurance practices.

Partner with business leaders to improve environmental and ESG performance.

Influence stakeholders at all levels to deliver sustainable HSE outcomes

Improved injury performance (TRIFR / LTIFR reduction)

Zero material regulatory breaches across APAC





Strong uplift in safety culture and proactive reporting

Effective HSE governance, reporting, and risk controls

Reduction in compensation costs and risk exposure

About You

You’re an influential leader with experience operating across complex, multi-site environments.

You will bring:

Senior HSE leadership experience across multi-country operations

Strong knowledge of HSE legislation (AU, NZ and Asia)

Proven track record in safety culture transformation

Ability to influence at executive and operational levels

Strong capability in risk, governance, and data-driven decision making

Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in WHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field

Relevant certifications (e.g. NEBOSH, ICAM, ISO) highly regarded
