The Traffic Allocator/Coordinator role is a key role within the operational team responsible for the overall engagement, allocation and retention of labour hire and traffic control resources. The role coordinates outcomes for client requirements and manages on-the-ground resourcing along with fleet and permit activities. The role works closely with the Director of Operations, Head of Safety, Traffic & Operations Supervisor and broader operational team to drive excellent business outcomes. Success in this role can be highlighted through growth in allocated employee numbers and client base over time. You will have your own portfolio of clients that you will manage end to end.
Key responsibilities include:
Receive jobs from Client and allocate with accuracy into the traffic allocations system, TRAFFIO
Monitor and evaluate the performance of on-ground traffic team members, providing feedback and guidance where required
Undertake the booking, allocation, or scope of work changes for Moonyah Clients via Moonyah platforms
Assist in managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient traffic management operations.
Communicate with clients, local councils, suppliers,
and other relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for traffic management activities.
Identify and build relationships with key Client opportunities, including local councils across Queensland.
Account manage key clients, identify growth opportunities for labour and traffic control.
Communicate relevant information to traffic controllers, internal team members, and external stakeholders.
Attend client and site meetings when required.
Receive design and permit requests and action them in a timely manner.
Manage out-of-hours requests for traffic requirements
Maintain the warehouse, ensuring it remains tidy, safe, and all stock is easily identified and accessible.
Key Skills and Attributes include:
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Customer focused, with good time management skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing workplace
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to roster/schedule allocate personnel and vehicles to job sites
Systems experience, TRAFFIO, is highly advantageous
