As the BI Developer, you will build reporting, data products, and automation solutions that enables smarter decision-making across the organisation. You’ll translate business needs into scalable data solutions, developing dashboards, data models, and AI-driven automations while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and unlock greater value from our data.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build and maintain dashboards, reporting,and data models that deliver trusted insights across leadership, operations, growth, and finance.
- Design and optimise AWS data pipelines and SQL transformation layers to turn raw data into reliable, business-ready information.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and data quality processes to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and dependable.
- Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual effort through solutions such as document extraction, summarisation, classification, and natural-language data access.
- Provide analysis and insights that support business decisions, funding, claiming,
and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in BI development, analytics engineering, data engineering, or data analytics.
- Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience building reliable data pipelines, models, automation, and data quality processes.
- Hands-on AWS experience across data services (including S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and cloud databases).
- Experience developing production dashboards and reporting solutions using modern BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong understanding of data modelling, coding practices, version control, and building maintainable, tested solutions.
- Comfortable using modern AI development tools (such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor) to improve productivity and delivery.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes, work with non-technical stakeholders, and take ownership of priorities and deliverables.
