The Supply Chain Planner & Analyst is responsible for developing, managing, and aligning supply plans to meet business demand while balancing service levels, inventory investment, and operational capacity.
The role translates demand signals into actionable supply plans, manages material requirements and inbound flows, and provides analytical insight to support decision-making across the supply chain. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the right products are available at the right time and in the right location.
This role works closely with Inventory Control, Purchasing, and Operations to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and execution activities.
Branch Inventory & DRP
Daily review of open customer order reports to determine and action transactional and distribution requirement to ensure supply fulfilment priorities
Analysis and generation of DRP requirements through accurate planning inputs
Execution and Management of DRP requirements via Maytronics distribution centres to support correct branch level inventory supporting current and pending sales and service requirements
Planning & Analysis
Conduct forecast analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting supply requirements
Execute and manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to generate supply requirements
Develop and maintain supply plans defining what products to procure or produce and when
Manage inbound timing and source planning to ensure supply continuity and optimal flow
Perform scenario modelling and risk analysis to assess the impact of demand, supply, and operational changes
Provide DRP analysis support to assist with inventory deployment and network balancing
Produce exception and general reporting, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Manage and implement demand adjustments based on validated inputs and changing conditions
Develop and maintain production schedules aligned to demand and supply constraints
Define and manage production assembly requirements (what should be built and when)
Ensure alignment of supply plans to business targets, including service levels, inventory investment, and capacity constraints
Operational and Administrative Support
Assist with transaction requirements and advice where required including stock conversions, goods receipting, purchase order creation and release
Ensure purchase requirements are aligned to supply plans and system outputs
Support Purchasing as required to ensure continuity of supply
Ad hoc business reporting as required
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline (preferred)
Skills
Strong understanding of supply planning, MRP, and inventory flow principles
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capability
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Effective communication and coordination skills
Proven ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced evolving environment.
Proven ability to multitask & adapt to evolving internal and external customer priorities.
Experience
at least 3 years’ experience in supply planning, demand planning, or supply chain analysis
Experience working within multi-site or distribution-based environments (preferred)
Demonstrated experience in MRP-driven planning and supply coordination
Experience in production planning or scheduling (desirable)
