About the role

We are seeking an experienced Field Manager to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in civil construction testing, Level 1 supervision and TMR projects who is looking to take ownership of field operations.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising field technicians, managing project delivery and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

As Field Manager, you will be required to:





- Manage daily field operations and technician scheduling.
- Oversee Level 1 earthworks supervision projects in accordance with AS3798.
- Coordinate and deliver TMR projects and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project managers.
- Review field documentation and ensure accurate reporting.
- Mentor and develop field staff.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality systems and WHS requirements.
- Assist with quoting, project planning and resource allocation.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Attitude

You will be self-motivated, a fast learner and bring a positive attitude to the team. We are ideally looking for experienced technicians who possess:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Field Manager or similar leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of Level 1 supervision (AS3798).
- Strong experience working on TMR (Transport and Main Roads) projects.
- Sound understanding of civil earthworks, pavement construction and quality assurance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

- Cert 4 in Laboratory Techniques or higher.
- Current Construction White Card.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current Nuclear Gauge Licence or willing to obtain
- NATA Signatories (or willingness to work towards obtaining signatories)
