MJ's Electrical & Air Conditioning is looking for a motivated, qualified electrician to join our team.
We're a small family-owned business completing a wide range of work across South East Queensland, including residential maintenance, split system air conditioning, commercial fit-outs, data, lighting, automation and more. One week you could be installing air conditioning in a home, the next you're helping deliver a high-end commercial fit-out.
We're not looking for someone who knows everything. We're looking for someone with a solid attitude, takes pride in their work, and wants to keep learning.
What you'll be doing
- Residential electrical maintenance and fault finding
- Split system air conditioning installations and servicing
- Switchboard upgrades
- General electrical installations
- Commercial electrical work and fit-outs
- Data and communications
- Working alongside apprentices and contributing to a positive team culture
What we're looking for
Essential
- Current QLD Electrical License
- Current Driver License
- Experience with residential maintenance
- Fault-finding skills
- Great communication with customers
- Ability to work independently and manage your day
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
Bonus (but not essential)
- Refrigerant Handling License (ARC)
- Experience installing split system air conditioners
- Working at Heights
