Harvey’s Group is seeking a reliable and thorough part time cleaner to maintain our Park Ridge facility.

This role is ideal for someone looking for short, consistent working hours across three days each week. We are open to applicants of all experience levels, including juniors, students, parents returning to work or anyone seeking approximately nine hours of regular work per week.

The facility includes multiple buildings, offices, shared areas, bathrooms and staff amenities.

Hours of Work

Some flexibility may be available around school, study, family or other work commitments

Key Responsibilities

The role will include routine cleaning and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks across multiple buildings on the premises.

Duties will include:

Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors

Periodic deep cleaning and scrubbing of floors

Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and toilets

Replenishing bathroom and kitchen supplies

Cleaning walls, doors, skirting boards and architraves

Dusting furniture, desks, shelves, window ledges and shared areas

Cleaning staff kitchens and lunchrooms

Washing dishes and loading and unloading the dishwasher

Deep cleaning the dishwasher, including filters and internal components

Cleaning and descaling coffee machines

Cleaning sinks, benches, cupboards and kitchen appliances

Emptying internal rubbish bins

Taking rubbish and recycling to the appropriate disposal areas

Emptying and managing document-shredding bins

Spot cleaning glass,



mirrors, doors and windows

Cleaning high-touch surfaces such as handles and light switches

Identifying areas requiring additional cleaning

Moving between multiple buildings within the facility

Maintaining cleaning equipment and advising when supplies need to be reordered

About the Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, punctual and consistent

Takes pride in keeping areas clean and presentable

Can work independently once trained

Is comfortable completing both routine and deep-cleaning duties

Is physically capable of bending, reaching, lifting, vacuuming and mopping

Can manage their time and prioritise tasks during each shift

Is respectful of workplace privacy and confidentiality

Is willing to learn and follow cleaning and safety procedures

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but is not essential. Full instructions and training can be provided to the right person.

Junior applicants and applicants with limited work experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Reliable transport to and from our Park Ridge facility

Ability to safely use standard cleaning products and equipment

Police check, or willingness to obtain one, may be required

Cleaning products and equipment will be supplied.

Employment Arrangements

This is a permanent part-time position involving approximately nine hours per week across three days.

The successful applicant will receive applicable leave entitlements and superannuation.

The hourly rate will be based on the applicable award, the applicant’s age, experience and demonstrated ability.
