Virtus Solutions is seeking an experienced Team Leaders to lead our nbn Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) projects across Brisbane, including apartments, office buildings and commercial developments.
This is a hands‑on leadership role supervising installation crews while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead nbn MDU fibre installation crews
- Install, terminate and test optical fibre cables
- Integrate fibre into existing nbn infrastructure
- Read construction drawings and cable plans
- Ensure works comply with nbn standards
- Manage quality, safety and project documentation
- Liaise with project managers, builders and clients
- Mentor and train field technicians
Essential Experience
- Proven experience leading fibre installation teams
- Experience on nbn MDU projects (highly regarded)
- Fibre cable installation, splicing and termination
- Optical testing and fault finding
- Strong understanding of telecommunications construction
- Ability to organise crews and deliver projects on schedule
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Working on Roofs (ICTWHS201)
- Splice & Terminate Optical Fibre (ICTCBL330)
- VOC for Wall Cavity Testing Equipment
- nbn Enable accreditation (preferred)
