What you'll be doing
To provide an effective medical service to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical environment.
Each position involves a six month rotation through anaesthetics and a six month rotation in ICU.
Attend Department quality assurance and in-service meetings
- MBBS or equivalent, current general registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Minimum of three years postgraduate clinical experience, demonstrated commitment to training program.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills and judgment and expertise.
- Demonstrates teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience and willingness to teach and support Junior Medical staff.
- A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with a preparedness and ability to participate in after-hours duty and on-call rosters.
