Stage School Australia is looking for an experiencedVoice teacher to join our team in Brisbane!
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced voice teacher applicants to take on Casual Voice teaching shifts starting with Saturdays in Brisbane, with a particular focus on our more advanced level students at the Stage School Southbank location.
As the teacher settles in, we can look to expanding opportunities with additional shifts at different locations.
We would love for you to join our team of specialists delivering high-energy, fun, repertoire-based group classes.
We are specifically looking for teachers with at minimum the following experience:
- Experience teaching voice to 14-18 year old students
- Knowledge of vocal techniques
- Knowledge of music theatre voicing and style
- Have previously taught harmonies & choral
- Have a minimum “can play a melody” piano skills, the ability to play accompaniments is preferred
- Additional experience in performing will be highly regarded, but not essential

Stage School Australia is one of Australia’s largest performing arts organisations, specialising in providing training for young people aged 4 to 18 years. With 40 years of legacy, 30 venues across Melbourne and Brisbane, over 6,000 students, and a faculty of 200+, Stage School Australia is the industry leader in its field.
We hire singing teachers/musical directors, dance directors and drama directors to work with our students, in structured training programmes. Curriculum and repertoire is provided. Rehearsalsare conducted during Government School terms and outside school hours.
Classes are generally run between 4.00pm and 9.30pm weeknights and 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday at various locations around Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
The successful applicants will also have:
- excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude
- a good rapport with children and young people
- a current Working With Children Check
