CBased Environmental, a leading supplier of environmental monitoring, technical, and analytical services throughout NSW, is currently seeking a Environmental Field Technician to join their team to help with our expanded workload. The position is based in the Mudgee region or its surrounding localities.

Responsibilities:

Support the Field Services team in delivering environmental monitoring services to clients

Prepare for and coordinate field work

Operate sampling equipment and conduct field analysis

Retrieve data and maintain equipment

Perform equipment maintenance and calibration

Mandatory Requirements:

Ability to coordinate a small team

Safety focused

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good problem-solving skills

Current Motor Vehicle Drivers Licence with the ability to drive manual 4WD vehicles

Flexibility in work hours to accommodate company schedules in the outdoor setting

Willingness to undergo ongoing drug and alcohol testing





Be able to pass a mine compliant medical

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma of Environmental Monitoring and Technology

Degree in Environmental Science or related disciplines

Land management experience

Experience in the environmental or laboratory sectors

Experience working in outdoor environments in all conditions

Previous experience working on mining or extractive industry sites

Additional Information:

The position is initially full time role, but could be offered as a 4 day permanent/part time role for the right applicant if this was a desired work pattern.

Work is primarily in the Ulan area, with occasional travel ( 5 days per quarter) to other work sites within regional NSW if desired by the applicant

The role offers hands-on training in all aspects of environmental monitoring within the resources industry

Remuneration is negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
