Carmichael College OSHC is a faith-based Christiannot-for-profit Centre. Carmichael College OSHC offers Before and After School Care, as well as Vacation Care. Our Service adheres to and promotes the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations and Cultural Safety. We aim to promote a safe environment that promotes children’s well-being.

The OSHC Service Coordinator | Nominated Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service. This includes day-to-day organisation, management and leadership of the OSHC service and ensuring a high quality of care and service delivery is maintained at all times.

Key duties include promoting and ensuring:

- the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care service
- robust trusting relationships between children, families and staff
- a strong and cohesive professional team
- meaningful parent participation in all aspects of service provision
- flexible relevant and responsive service provision
- cost effective service provision and the best investment of available resources
- the delivery of a compliant service in line with the National Law and Regulations as prescribed by the Education & Care Authority
- upholding the Christian values of a faith based OSHC service.





About You:

- Minimum 2 year Diploma qualification or equivalent in OSHC/ Early Childhood Education.
- Current Senior First aid Certificate, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Current and valid Blue Card.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication / presentation skills.
- Ability to self-manage and meet timelines.
- Demonstration of initiative and innovation.
- Knowledge of My Time Our Place and the National Standards is essential.
- General knowledge and/or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of relevant legislations.
- Christian values and respect for the delivery of faith-based curriculum within the service.
